Dethique is a trust, ethics, and traceability tool designed to simplify the formalization of loans between loved ones. Our mission is to provide a clear framework for what we call a 'simple promissory note' in order to preserve relationships. Dethique is not a digital law firm and in no way substitutes for State requirements, notaries, or professional legal advice. The platform does not engage in any credit granting, banking intermediation, or payment services.

No financial flow passes through Dethique. Funds are remitted and repaid directly between parties. Users are solely responsible for the reality and traceability of these exchanges.

It is the users' responsibility to ensure their loan's compliance. The amounts below are for information only (values in effect as of May 11, 2026). Only the information on the service-public.gouv.fr website is authoritative.

• Written Proof: Strongly recommended for any loan and legally required beyond €1,500.
• Tax Declaration: Any loan exceeding €5,000 must be declared to the tax authorities.

Generated documents constitute formalization supports and do not count as individual legal advice. Electronic signatures and witness intervention constitute contractual proof between parties, without guarantee of automatic opposability to any administration.

Publishing a loan file consumes 1 file from your balance. The first file is offered upon account creation to allow you to formalize a first loan for free. Additional files are acquired via packs and never expire. Joining as a counterparty or witness is always free.
